A seller survey is being conducted by The Debt Marketplace, Inc. in conjunction with Pacific Coast Banking School. Information gathered in this survey will be analyzed and compiled into a research paper that may be made publicly available. No participant or specific company information will be released. All specific participant information will remain confidential, and will not be shared with any third-party.

We would like to understand why some financial institutions sell accounts and others do not. We would like to compare factors that went into the decision-making process to sell or not sell accounts. We would also like to understand why some have never considered selling accounts. The survey seeks information on ordinary pre- and post-charge-off accounts and does not include specialty accounts, such as bankrupt, deceased and fraud.
